Abstract
We describe a case of congenital absence of the gallbladder and cystic duct, associated with a congenital lumbar hernia, and review the literature. Special emphasis is placed on the pathogenesis of common bile duct involvement and its effects. Treatment is aimed at correcting these primary defects and their complications.Entities:
