Naevus of the choroid.

J A Oosterhuis, C H von Winning.

Abstract

Despite their common occurrence and benign character, choroidal naevi show a number of interesting features. Hyper- and hypopigmentation, drusen, pigment-epithelial detachment, retinal deposits and capillary circulatory disturbances are described. Colour and red-light photography appear to be the most appropriate techniques for documentation.
