Abstract
Oestrogen may be implicated as an aetiological factor in the development of some renal carcinomas in man. The development of a renal carcinoma in 2 patients who had been treated with low-dose oestrogen for periods of 3 and 3 1/2 years because of prostatic carcinoma is described. It is suggested that patients receiving prolonged oestrogen therapy should be evaluated for the presence of a renal carcinoma at regular intervals.Entities:
