Abstract
Administration of thyrotropin-releasing hormone to normal subjects causes a prompt rise in plasma thyrotropin concentration, followed by a significant increase in circulating plasma triiodothyronine. These observations may prove to be of value in simultaneously assessing the ability of the pituitary and thyroid glands to respond to their trophic hormones.Entities:
