Endotoxin-altering activity in serum of developing chicken embryo: lack of correlation with embryonic susceptibility to injected endotoxin.

Abstract

Development in chicken embryos of increased resistance to lethal effects of endo-toxin could not be quantitatively accounted for by increased endotoxin-inactivating capacity of their sera.
