Abstract
The effects of infection with Rowson-Parr virus (RPV), an associated virus present in Friend virus (FV) preparations, on the splenic plaque-forming cell response to sheep red cells in adult mice and on the plaque-forming cell response of peritoneal cells in vitro have been investigated. The results support the hypothesis that RPV might be responsible for a considerable proportion of the early immunodepressive effects caused by FV preparations.Entities:
