Benign inflammatory tumour of the common bile duct.

J D Stamatakis, E R Howard, R Williams.

Abstract

A rare cause of obstructive jaundice in childhood is presented. Ultrasound and subsequent percutaneous cholangiography demonstrated the site of obstruction. Histological examination of the resected tumour showed features consistent with a diagnosis of benign inflammatory tumour of the common bile duct.
