Abstract
Chloroplast DNAs of higher plants have been found to contain two chloroplast ribosomal RNA genes. The base sequences of these chloroplast ribosomal RNA genes in chloroplast DNAs have been studied by molecular hybridization. The results have shown that these genes have undergone little divergence in the evolution of either monocotyledonous or dicotyledonous plants.Entities:
