Abstract
Four patients with hepatic cell adenoma have been treated at the UCLA Hospital since 1965. The most recent was a 22-year-old woman who underwent subtotal resection of a giant hepatic cell adenoma after an unusual and confusing clinical presentation. The tumor may be the largest reported to date and may have excreted metabolically-active substances. Increased familiarity with the varying clinical and radiographic presentations of these rare tumors may facilitate earlier diagnosis and management.Entities:
