Abstract
A typical case of Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease is described. Two unusual morphological features-namely, `kuru-like' plaques in the cerebellum and coarsely vacuolated neurones in the striatum-are further similarities between Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease and kuru.Mesh:
