Abstract
Ninety patients with clinically documented temporomandibular joint disease were followed for ten years. Sixty-four of these patients were treated by conservative means alone, and over 90% responded with complete relief of symptoms. Conservative therapy consisted primarily of jaw rest, with adjunctive use of heat, analgesics, and antiinflammatory agents.Entities:
