Abstract
Two adult patients with terminal fatal liver disease were treated by orthotopic transplantation. One survived 11 months and died as a result of recurrent biliary intra-abdominal sepsis; the other patient is alive and well in the 18th month after transplantation and has virtually normal liver function. It is concluded that liver grafting can provide valuable therapy.Entities:
