Effect of membrane lipid composition on the allosteric inhibition by sodium of the Ca 2+ )-adenosine triphosphatase from Escherichia coli.

R N Farías, L Londero, R E Trucco.

Abstract

The allosteric inhibition by sodium of the (Ca(2+))-adenosine triphosphatase (EC 3.6.1.3) from Escherichia coli was found to be dependent on the lipid composition of the cell membrane.
