Abstract
Microhemangiomas of the iris are recently recognized lesions, the cause and pathogenesis of which are unknown. Almost all patients whose cases have been reported were more than 45 years old. Complications seem to be uncommon although some patients have developed spontaneous hyphema and transitory elevations of intraocular pressure. The patient whose case we are reporting is the first in whom bilateral spontaneous hyphema originating from microhemangiomas of the pupillary border is described.Entities:
