Acquired male urethral diverticulum.

Abstract

Four cases of acquired urethral diverticula in male subjects are reviewed. All patients presented with complications such as urinary tract infection, urethral fistulas and stone or sequestrum formation in the diverticulum. The recommended treatment is excision of the diverticulum and repair of the urethra. The relevant literature has been reviewed.
