[Cancellous bone from the head of the tibia as autologous graft material (author's transl)].

Abstract

In the operative treatment of 93 lower leg and ankle fractures at the Kreuzspital Chur cancellous bone from the head of the tibia of the same leg was used to brigde bone defects. The advantage of this procedure lies in the fact that operative site and donor site are identical.
