Demonstration of transforming deoxyribonucleic acid in an autolysate of a group H Streptococcus.

J M Ranhand, R M Cole.

Abstract

Highly active transforming deoxyribonucleic acid was obtained from an autolysate of competent strain Wicky group H streptococcal cells that were resistant to both dihydrostreptomycin and rifampin.
