Abstract
Posterior vitreous detachment is an important clinical finding. In addition to producing a variety of visual symptoms, it can also precipitate retinal and vitreous hemorrhages, edema of the optic disc and macula, and retinal breaks. We document the occurrence of peripapillary hemorrhages following acute posterior vitreous detachment.Entities:
