Abstract

The digital flexor system constitutes one of the most elegant and sophisticated systems of movement in the human body. Intimate knowledge of its anatomy and biomechanics is necessary for the surgeon who elects to care for acute flexor tendon injuries or to perform secondary reconstruction.
