Vascular tumors: 30-year inventory.

Abstract

The author discusses the problems in treating noninvoluting hemangiomas, especially with embolization with superselective angiography combined with surgery. A long-term evolution of these surgically treated cases revealed many unhappy patients with numerous psychosocial problems including difficulty coping with the outside world.
