Total synthesis and spectral characterization of 5,8,14-icosatrienoic acid and 5,11,14-icosatrienoic acid and their acetylenic analogues.

Abstract

Two isomeric icosatrienoic acids with double bonds at positions 5,8,14 and 5,11,14 and their 1-14C- and acetylenic analogues were prepared. The syntheses and characterization of these acids are described.
