Abstract
Transurethral incision of the prostate was performed on 646 patients in 15 years. This operation is offered as a surgical cure for bladder outlet obstruction in men of all ages and different sized prostates. In large glands TUIP may not be desirable. Deep incisions cause surgical and sexual complications and may fuse by adhesions. In matched cases this method provided better results and fewer complications than the standard transurethral resection.Entities:
