Abstract
Two enzymatically active forms of valyl-tRNA synthetase [EC 6.1.1.9] were found in the cells of Bacillus subtilis. The aminoacylation activities of the two forms were altered during the sporulation of B. subtilis. The tRNA'S acylated by these enzymes were analyzed by methylated albumin-Kieselguhr column chromatography.Entities:
