Abstract
A clinicopsychological study of 130 patients with peptic ulcer and chronic gastritis with secretory insufficiency at hospital and out-patient stages of rehabilitation made it possible to reveal an inadequate (neurotic) attitude to disease in most of them. The most common types of personal reaction of the patients to disease were described. A psychiatrist should be necessarily involved in therapeutic-prophylactic measures for these patients with peptic ulcer and chronic gastritis.Entities:
