Anaplastic transformation of metastatic follicular carcinoma of the thyroid.

Abstract

This is a case report of a patient believed to be the first reported case of pulmonary metastases from follicular carcinoma of the thyroid undergoing transformation to anaplastic carcinoma proven by serial biopsies.
