Occupational hyperkeratoses in carpet installers.

J E Wahlberg.

Abstract

A field investigation among carpet installers in Stockholm, Sweden, revealed a peculiar hyperkeratosis on the knuckles and dorsal aspects of the hands and feet. The hyperkeratoses usually took some years to develop and were a result of repeated trauma to the skin from friction and pressure.
