The reaction of the cancerostatic CCNU with the catalytic site of transglutaminase.

Abstract

The experiments in this paper show for the first time that CCNU, a nitrosourea, inhibits transglutaminase (an enzyme believed to be involved in tissue proliferation) on account of its cyclohexyl-isocyanate moiety.
