Abstract
Microaerophilic spiral organisms may be isolated frequently from samples of gastric mucus taken from patients undergoing gastroscopy. The ultrastructure of these gastric campylobacter-like organisms ('Campylobacter pyloridis') shows that they have greater affinities with Spirillum than with Campylobacter.Entities:
