Abstract
Ultrastructural studies have made significant contributions in evaluating the pathology and pathogenesis of AIDS. Three distinct types of abnormal cytomembranous inclusions in tissue specimens or peripheral blood mononuclear cells from AIDS patients are described--vesicular rosettes (VR), tubuloreticular inclusions (TRI), and cylindrical confronting lamellae (CCL).Entities:
