Abstract
The present paper reports on ophthalmological symptoms of type B botulism which occurred in 21 cases after they had eaten bacon. The absence of severe complications indicated that the intoxication was only slight. The suspected diagnosis was made by the ophthalmologist on the basis of the inevitable symptom of hyposalivation in combination with a deficit in accommodation.Entities:
