Abstract
Propanolol, minoxidil, and clofibrate, three different classes of pharmacological agents used clinically in various conditions related to atherosclerosis, were shown not to have any intrinsic potentiating effects on the development of atherosclerosis in stumptail macaques fed an atherogenic diet. We did obtain, however, some results that suggest that clofibrate and propranolol may exert some beneficial actions.Entities:
