Abstract
An acute appendicitis was diagnosed in a 29-year-old patient with situs in inversus totalis. Appendectomy was carried out. The incidence, etiology and the diagnosis of complete situs inversus as well as the diagnosis and pitfalls of acute appendicitis in this rare congenital abnormally are described.Entities:
