[Raising an impression fracture of the skull in the newborn infant with the vacuum extractor].

Abstract

A vacuum extractor was successfully used to elevate a depressed fracture of the parietal bone in a newborn. The following computerized tomography showed a minimal subdural effusion. Without further therapy the patient recovered uneventfully.
