X-linked mixed hearing loss: four case studies.

To present four cases of an X-linked inner ear malformation, the authors studied inner ear malformations and present here all the radiological, genetic, and audiological tests of these patients. The importance of this paper is to reinforce the differential diagnosis between this pathology and otosclerosis in order to avoid surgical procedures.
