Abstract
A case of aortoesophageal fistula, secondary to a false aneurysm of the thoracic aorta is presented. Esophagoscopy and aortography are high-yield diagnostic procedures. The Sengstaken-Blakemore tube provides a satisfactory temporizing measure. Definitive repair should include aortic replacement with a Dacron graft through clean tissue planes.Entities:
