Abstract
The clinical course of 68 patients with femoral neck fractures is reported. Fracture management was chosen regarding age and accompanying health defects. Fracture management, operation time, complications, mobilization results and hospitalization time is described, compared to other authors and discussed. The results favor the implantation of a Duopleet prosthesis as the salvage operation of choice for femoral neck fractures of old patients beyond 75. Other methods are considered to remain valuable with differentiated indication.Entities:
