Abstract
We studied the incidence of Chlamydia trachomatis colonization of the cervix in pregnant adolescents and analyzed the effect of such colonization on pre-, intra-and postpartum events. A significant increase in post-vaginal-delivery endometritis as well as an increase in other sexually transmitted diseases occurred in patients colonized by C. trachomatis.Entities:
