Amitriptyline-induced Torsade de Pointes. Successful therapy with atrial pacing.

Abstract

The author reports a case of Torsade de Pointes secondary to Amitriptyline overdose in an attempted suicide. Mechanism of tachycardia and guidelines for treatment are reviewed.
