The authors, after collecting all human hypodermosis cases in France they know to this day, to the number of 266 (cases in the literature, and unpublished, diagnosed or by them, in the great majority, or by others), make the situation, at the beginning of 1984, of this parasitosis and do comments on the evolution in time of the number of cases according to the geographical regions in France.
