Abstract
A case of stomach rupture in a 47-year-old scuba diver is reported. Symptoms of gastrointestinal expansion during ascent are quite common and are caused by decompression of swallowed air. Gastric perforation is however rare, and needs to be promptly recognized and surgically repaired.Entities:
