Abstract
The half-life of injected monocomponent insulin, as judged by radioimmunoassay, has been found to be 3-3 1/2 min in a group of healthy women. This value is unaffected by pregnancy. Tests were repeated in non-pregnant women during an infusion of GHRIH to ensure that endogenous insulin secretion was suppressed by the dose of insulin given. Similar values were obtained.Entities:
