Abstract
A case of gravida presenting with upper abdominal pain, an elevated serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase level, and thrombocytopenia, all of which resolved promptly after delivery, and with none of the standard signs and symptoms needed for the diagnosis of preeclampsia is presented. The issues of how this case relates to preeclampsia, nomenclature, differential diagnosis, and management are discussed.Entities:
