Abstract
NMR has proved useful in the detection of Acute Cerebrovascular Disorders (ACVD), providing information related either to the tissue signal intensity and relaxation times, or to the morphological aspects of cerebral structures. Eighteen patients suffering from ischemic Acute Cerebrovascular Disorders were studied. A comparison between NMR imaging and CT scan was performed. Ischemic lesions, presence of edema, presence of reactive gliosis and anatomical vascular anomalies were found.Entities:
