Abstract

Meconium ileus (MeI) is the presenting symptom in 10 to 15 percent of infants with cystic fibrosis (CF), but it is a rare phenomenon in patients who do not have this disease. We report four Bedouin siblings who had MeI with no laboratory evidence of CF.
