Abstract
The ganglion cells of the terminal nerve (TN cells) in the carp were identified using intracellular recording and staining techniques. The TN cells showed characteristic location and morphology as well as characteristic responses after electrical shocks to the olfactory nerve and tracts. These features of the TN cells were distinct from those of the mitral or other cells in the olfactory bulb.Entities:
