Abstract
Two cases of partial defects of the ulna in the growing child were successfully treated with the one-bone forearm procedure and followed up for 1 and 5 years, respectively. Stable elbow and forearm could be established by synthesis of the proximal part of the ulna and the distal part of the radius. Cosmetic and functional improvement was achieved in spite of a limitation of pronation-supination in the forearm. Longitudinal growth of the affected forearm was maintained during the follow-up period after correction at surgery.Entities:
