[Haptoglobin phenotype distribution in patients at high risk of developing myocardial infarct].

Abstract

Haptoglobin (Hp) phenotyping was carried out in patients at risk for myocardial infarction. A highly significant increase in the incidence of the phenotype Hp 2-2 was demonstrated in the high-risk group, as compared to a group of normal subjects.
