Abstract
Bordetella pertussis produced hemagglutinin in stationary cultures; in cultures kept under constant shaking, hemagglutinin was found only during the first 48 h of incubation but not after 3 to 5 days. The type of medium had a pronounced effect on production of hemagglutinin. Strain differences in ability to produce hemagglutinin were also detected.Mesh:
