Abstract
This report describes two patients who developed a secondary form of pigmentary open-angle glaucoma after implantation of a posterior chamber intraocular lens. The glaucoma was associated with considerable erosion of the iris pigment epithelium and a charcoal-black pigmentation of the trabecular meshwork. One case responded to argon laser trabeculoplasty and the other case did not. Possible causes of this syndrome are discussed.Entities:
