Abstract
A series of 20 hemispheric tumors in children less than 16 years of age, over a period of 20 years, is presented. Among them, 8 were oligodendroglial tumors, a proportion well above the level reported in the literature. The World Health Organization (WHO) classification, which includes mixed oligoastrocytomas, in the oligodendrogliomas was used. This addition does not explain this unusually high proportion. Selection of cases and the correct histological diagnosis are probably important.Entities:
